Georgia has received their 11th verbal commitment for 2008, this one from Charlotte, NC (Independence H.S.) defensive back Makiri Pugh.
Pugh (6-0, 194, 4.42) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs over offers from Clemson, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Virginia and Virginia Tech.
If Pugh signs with Georgia next February, he will be the fourth recruit from Independence High School to sign with the Dawgs since 2002. The other three are Joe Cox, Mohamed Massaquoi and Mario Raley.
