The 2007-08 Georgia Bulldogs Basketball Schedule has been updated with confirmed dates against the Kentucky Wildcats, Ole Miss Rebels and National Champion Florida Gators. The Hoop Dawgs will host Kentucky in Athens on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m EST. The game will be televised by CBS.
On Tuesday, February 19, 2008, the Bulldogs will travel to Lexington to face the Wildcats. The game will be broadcast by ESPN at 9:00 p.m. EST.
Georgia will host the Ole Miss Rebels in Athens on Saturday, March 8, 2008. This will likely be the last regular-season game for the Bulldogs before the SEC Tournament in Atlanta.
Update (2:30 p.m.): The Bulldogs will travel to Gainesville on Saturday, February 9, 2008 to face the National Champion Florida Gators. The game will be televised by LF Sports at 3:00 pm EST. On Wednesday, February 27, 2008, the Bulldogs will host the Gators in Athens.
Non-conference opponents that the Bulldogs are slated to play include Georgia Tech, Elon and Presbyterian. Possible contests include return games with Gonzaga (away), Wake Forest (home), Western Kentucky (away) and Wisconsin (away).
Georgia will also play in the 2007 Rainbow Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii. The field is rumored to include Hawaii, St. John’s, Ohio University, St. Mary’s of California, Tulane, ETSU and Louisiana-Lafayette.
