After the first of two off weeks, the Georgia Bulldogs (4-1, 1-1) are preparing to take on the Tennessee Volunteers (2-3, 1-1) between the hedges in Sanford Stadium on Saturday. The game will be televised by CBS at 3:30 p.m.
The Volunteers are struggling in 2008, having lost at UCLA 27-24, at home against Florida 30-6 and at Auburn 14-12. Tennessee narrowly defeated Northern Illinois 13-9 this past weekend.
Despite not playing on Saturday, the Dawgs moved up from 11th to 10th in the AP Poll and took sole possession of 10th in the Coaches’ Poll. The rise was due to South Florida losing at home against Pittsburgh 26-21.
