Georgia survived another poor performance at the free-throw line (10-of-21) to beat the visiting Virginia Tech Hokies 67-66. Albert Jackson scored the game-winning basket with 28.3 seconds remaining. With the win, the Dawgs are now 6-3 on the season.
The Hoop Dawgs emerged from their tough 3-game stretch with one win and two losses. Their next four games, Wofford, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, North Carolina A&T and Kennesaw State, are all at home and should be wins. After that, the Bulldogs host Missouri on January 3 followed by a game at rival Georgia Tech on January 6.
