Coaches Vote A.J. Green SEC Freshman of the Year

Georgia Bulldog wide receiver A.J. Green was voted the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Freshman of the Year on Wednesday. Green, from Summerville, SC, has played in all 12 games as a freshman and caught 55 passes for 951 yards and 8 touchdowns.

A.J. Green has also been named AP First Team All-SEC by the media. Interestingly, Julio Jones was named AP Freshman of the Year, although Jones was named AP Second Team All-SEC behind Green.
