As reported late last week by the AJC and Athens Banner-Herald, offensive line coach Stacy Searels will remain at the University of Georgia. Searels was being pursued by new Auburn Tigers head coach Gene Chizik.

This is a big retention by Mark Richt and the Georgia Bulldogs, as Searels is regarded as one of the best offensive line coaches in the country. Richt announced that Searels will receive a salary increase from his current annual salary of $235,400.
