The Georgia Bulldogs added another late signee yesterday to their 2009 recruiting class. Brandon Bogotay, a kicker from San Diego, California, has signed a letter of intent to play for the Dawgs.
Bogotay (6-3, 200) played last year as a freshman at Grossmont College in El Cajon, California. He made 15-of-23 field goals on the season and his longest was 52 yards.
Bogotay, who did not play football in high school, is the 20th signee for the Bulldogs in 2009. He was also offered a scholarship by the Hawaii Warriors.

i guess he is okay but i dont c the point in getting another ok kicker when we need someone that is good at kickoffs not just mediocre at field goals

Reports indicate he put 80% of his kickoffs into the endzone. This is probably why we signed him. Although I can’t believe we couldn’t find a walk-on that can just boom kicks.

I hope he can put it out of the end zone. At 6′ 3″ 200 lbs, he should be able to help on stopping any returns.
