UGA Basketball Signee Daniel Miller Granted Release From LOI

SicEmDawgs.com

Georgia Bulldogs basketball signee Daniel Miller, who signed with UGA last year, has been granted a release from his National Letter of Intent, UGA reported today. Miller signed his LOI on November 11, 2008, under then head coach Dennis Felton.

From GeorgiaDogs.com:

“The family of Daniel Miller expressed a desire for Daniel to be released from his letter-of-intent,” said Fox.  “After meeting with them over the weekend, I have granted Daniel his complete release.  I wish him well in the career path he chooses for himself.”

The release of Miller leaves only DeMario Mayfield for the 2008-09 signing class. Mark Fox has been burning up the recruiting trail and hopefully he is able to lure some good recruits to Athens for the upcoming season.

The Dawgs have shown interest in guard Vincent Williams, but he has yet to schedule a visit to Athens. The signing period ends on May 20, but there are still methods to enroll recruits up until the beginning of Fall semester.
