Georgia Beats Arkansas In 10 Innings

The Georgia Bulldogs scored the game-winning run in the top of the 10th inning to advance to the semifinals of the 2009 SEC Baseball Tournament. Matt Cerione scored the game-winning run on a Joey Lewis ground ball to third base.

The Diamond Dawgs will be off today and will face the winner of LSU-Arkansas on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. ET (FSN). If Georgia should lose the 2:30 game, they will face the same opponent again at 9:00 Saturday night. If Georgia wins the first game, or loses the first and wins the second, they will advance to the championship game on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. ET (FSN).

The Vanderbilt Commodores also advanced to the semifinals and will face either the Arkansas Razorbacks or Florida Gators.
