Georgia adds Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns to 2010 Football Schedule

Louisiana Ragin' CajunsThe Georgia Bulldogs have added Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns of the Sun Belt Conference to their 2010 football schedule, the AJC has reported. The game will be played in Athens on September 4, 2010, but may be moved if necessary.

This will be the first match-up between Georgia and UL Lafayette. The school recently trademarked and adopted the name “Louisiana’s Ragin’ Cajuns”.

The addition of the Ragin’ Cajuns leaves one non-conference opening for the Dawgs in 2010. Georgia is scheduled to play at Colorado on October 2 and home against Georgia Tech on November 27.
