The Georgia Bulldogs have received another commitment from Jacksonville, Florida. Athlete Derek Owens of Andrew Jackson High School committed to the Dawgs today.

Owens (5-11, 180, 4.45) committed to Georgia over offers from several top schools including Cincinnati, Florida, Illinois, Louisville, Miami, Purdue and South Carolina.

Scout.com ranks Owens as a 3-star recruit and has him rated as the 26th best cornerback.
