4-Star Defensive Tackle Garrison Smith Commits to UGA

Four-star defensive tackle Garrison Smith of Atlanta (Douglass High School) has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. Smith made his announcement yesterday and is commitment number 15 for the 2010 class.

Smith (6-4, 250) committed to the Dawgs over offers from all of the top schools including Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee and USC.

Rivals.com rates Garrison Smith as a four-star recruit, no. 2 in the 2010 Rivals.com Rivals100 and the no. 2 defensive tackle in the country. Scout.com rates Smith as a five-star recruit and the 2nd best DT in the country.
