Georgia and Army Discuss Future Home-and-home Football Series

SicEmDawgs.com

ArmyBill King of the Junkyard Blawg on AJC.com blogs today about a possible Georgia Bulldogs vs. Army Black Knights football series. The Black Knights are trying to schedule home-and-home football games with major programs.

Just last week, Army announced a home-and-home series with the Oklahoma Sooners for 2018 and 2020. The Sooners will play the Black Knights in West Point, but King states that Georgia could play Army at the new Yankee Stadium.

Marc Weiszer of the Athens Banner-Herald was the first to report on the Army story. The Bulldogs have had discussions with Army about playing after 2018, but can’t sign any contracts yet because the future SEC football schedule has not been released.
