Look folks, the truth of the matter is this, the UGA football program DOES NOT need to fire or even THINK about letting Mark Richt go. He has done nothing but bring this team into the lime light year after year. Look at his numbers – they prove everything. The decision to keep Joe Cox on the field has been the most costly decision of any coach. Too much faith in a high school star QB. To me, it seems as if his heart is NOT in the game and could care less about the big ‘W’. Yes, at the end of the day it is just another game (to some people), but to others this is a fellowship of believers who want to see their team succeed/WIN. And that fellowship was broken when Joe Cox was not benched. Good luck UGA seniors and good riddance Joe Cox!

I have followed Georgia Football since 1960 during the time when Larry Rakestraw was Quarterback.Some of my high school buddies played there Jimmy Cooley and Brad Johnson and my son even played there during the late eighties when James Jackson and Lars Tate were the starting offensive stars.Over a period of years I was around Coach Dooley what a Leader he was and demanded discipline from all the players.Our team at this point is out of control.Coach Richt is a great man and he needs to make changes on the staff starting with Willie Martinez and demote Mike Bobo back to Quarterback Coach and call the plays himself on offense. Our most succesful years were when he directed the offense.Please coach take control of the Dawgs and lets get back to our old habits and Win!

We won’t burn a redshirt for Murray or Mettenberger at this point. The season is over, a win over Georgia Tech would be nice, but a freshman that has never played won’t lead us to victory.

As always, let’s hope we beat Tech. If not, it’s 6-6 and off to Shreveport.

now we know how Auburn fans felt, they fell apart in the 2nd half against us and we felt like we had gotten back some of our offensive mojo. as it turns out, we just played the best half of the year against the tigers. bring on the freshmen! 2010 hopefully we be a rebuilding year*

It’s done. Willie Martinez will be fired at the end of the year and Mark Richt will have one more season to change things up. If Georgia has its third straight disappointing season he will be looking for a job once again. There is no excuse for the mistakes were making. At this point in the season there is no since in yanking Joe Cox now. There is only one game left and the season has already gone to pot. There is no since in burning a redshirt when already things are out of reach.

Time to let the Freshman QB take over and play alongside the other Freshman that were playing awesome yesterday. There is absolutely no reason for JC to stay at the helm at this point and if the coaches say otherwise, they should be shown the door.
