2010 Old Spice Classic bracket released

ESPN has officially announced the first round matchups for the 2010 Old Spice Classic in Orlando. They also released the tournament bracket.

The Old Spice Classic will be held on Thanksgiving weekend at the Fieldhouse at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando, Florida.

Last week, we reported the first round matchups that were gathered from information around the Internet.

Georgia will face Notre Dame on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The game will be televised by ESPN2. If the Dawgs win, they will face the winner of the Temple-California game on Friday, November 26 at 5:00 p.m. (ESPN2).

Listed below are the first round matchups (Thursday, November 25):

• Game 1 – Boston College vs. Texas A&M (12:00 p.m. – ESPN2)
• Game 2 – Wisconsin vs. Manhattan (2:00 p.m. – ESPN2)
• Game 3 – Georgia vs. Notre Dame (7:00 p.m. – ESPN2)
• Game 4 – Temple vs. California (9:00 p.m. – ESPN2)

Each team in the tournament is guaranteed three games. Win all three and you are the champion, lose and you go to one of the losers brackets. With eight teams in this format, there ends up being a championship game, 3rd place, 5th place and 7th place game on the final day of the tournament.
