Georgia scored its fewest points in the first half all season, 21, and fell on the road to Alabama 65-57. The loss drops the Bulldogs to 20-10 overall and 9-7 in the SEC.

Trey Thompkins and Travis Leslie led the Dawgs with 15 points each. Dustin Ware added 11 for the Dawgs.

With the regular-season now complete, Georgia awaits their seeding in the 2011 SEC Tournament. Georgia will play on Thursday, March 10 and will not receive a first-round bye.

The loss hurts Georgia’s NCAA Tournament resume’ somewhat, but it was on the road in conference. The Bulldogs are clearly on the bubble and may need to at least win on Thursday to seal an invite to the Big Dance.
