Dawgs fall out of AP and USA Today Top 25 Polls

By Kevin Kelley - Tue, Sep 6, 2011

UGAAfter their disappointing 35-21 loss to Boise State, the Georgia Bulldogs have dropped out of both the AP and USA Today Top 25 Polls.

Georgia was previously ranked 19th in the AP Poll and 22nd in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The Dawgs are now 4th in the AP and 5th in the Coaches Poll in “others receiving votes.”

By virtue of the win, Boise State rose in both polls. The Broncos are now 4th in the AP and 5th in the Coaches Poll.

Georgia’s next opponent, South Carolina, is ranked 12th in both polls. The Bulldogs and Gamecocks square off in Athens on Saturday, Sept. 10 at 4:30 p.m. ET (ESPN – Tickets).

I love coach Richt, and he’s a great man. However, a great man that shows no emotion on the sideline and can’t take 5 star athletes and not even win their conference is just not going to cut it! At the very least make our offensive line work hard at practice that’s one of the biggest reasons we lost the last game.
