Georgia sets Basketball Exhibition Game against Morehouse

MorehouseThe Georgia Bulldogs have scheduled their basketball exhibition game against the Morehouse Maroon Tigers. The game will be played on Friday, Nov. 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET.

This will be the first ever meeting between the two schools. Morehouse will receive $10,000 for playing the game at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens.

The Maroon Tigers are a member of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II. They finished the 2010-11 season 14-14 overall and 14-11 in conference play.

Morehouse, located in Atlanta, is coached by Grady Brewer, a four-year letterman and two-year starter for the Maroon Tigers. During his 10 years as head coach of Morehouse, Brewer has compiled an overall record of 157-125.

After taking on Georgia in Athens, Morehouse will head north for an exhibition game against the Kentucky Wildcats on Nov. 7.
