SicEmDawgs.com

Gerald Robinson scored 16 points to lead Georgia over Tennessee 57-53 in overtime. The win improves Georgia’s record to 10-8 overall and 1-3 in the SEC.

The Bulldogs led 27-24 at the half but surrendered the lead after a 6-2 Tennessee run to start the second half. With 17 seconds remaining in the game, Gerald Robinson scored on a layup to tie the game and force the extra five minutes.

Donte Williams scored 11 points and had 8 rebounds while Nemanja Djurisic also scored 11 and had 3 rebounds. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who played 41 minutes and had 9 points and 6 rebounds, was 0-8 from three-point range.

UGA finished the game shooting 34.9% (22-63) and 10.5% (2-19) from three-point range. I didn’t look at past results, but that likely is the lowest for the Dawgs this season.

Georgia’s next game is Saturday at home against the Ole Miss Rebels (11-6, 1-2 SEC). The game will be televised by the SEC Network at 4:00 p.m. ET.
