Georgia rolls over Arkansas 81-59

Gerald Robinson scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Georgia Bulldogs over the Arkansas Razorbacks 81-59 on Wednesday night in Athens.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 18 points as the Hoop Dawgs won only their second game in conference play this season. The win improves Georgia’s record to 11-12 overall and 2-7 in the SEC.

After the game was tied at eight with 13 minutes remaining in the first half, the Hoop Dawgs went on a 15-0 run to take the lead. The Dawgs took a 43-24 lead into halftime.

In the second half, Georgia added a 12-0 run to put the game away. Marcus Thornton, who started the game, chipped in 10 points and Nemanja Djurisic came off the bench to score 14.

Georgia made 30 of 57 field goal attempts (52.6%) and 9 of 20 three-point attempts (45%).

Georgia’s next game is Saturday, Feb. 11 at Mississippi State. The game will be televised by the SEC Network at 1:30 p.m. ET.
