2013 CB Reggie Wilkerson commits to the Dawgs

Reggie WilkersonGeorgia has picked up their second verbal commitment of the day, this one from 2013 cornerback Reggie Wilkerson of Ocala, FL (North Marion H.S.).

Wilkerson (5-11, 168) committed to Georgia over offers from several schools, including Clemson, Purdue, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Utah and Virginia Tech. Other schools that have shown interest include Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Miami (FL), Notre Dame, Penn State and Stanford.

Rivals.com rates Wilkerson as a 3-star recruit and the no. 22 cornerback in the country. He is the fourth cornerback commitment for Georgia and the 15th commit overall for the Dawgs for the 2013 class.

The Bulldogs also received a commitment from 2014 recruit Demarre Kitt earlier today. Since April 5, Georgia has reeled in seven commitments (five 2013 and two 2014).
