LB Reggie Carter commits to Georgia for 2013

Reggie CarterLinebacker Reggie Carter of Snellville, GA (South Gwinnett High) has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. He is UGA’s 13th commitment for the 2013 class.

Carter (6-1, 220) committed to the Dawgs over several top schools, including Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Vanderbilt.

Rivals.com and Scout.com both rate Reggie Carter as a 3-star recruit. He is the third linebacker for the 2013 class, joining Johnny O’Neal and Ryne Rankin.

Due to Georgia’s current available scholarships and number of likely early enrollees in January, head coach Mark Richt expects to sign a “healthy class.”
