Rico Johnson, a cornerback/wide receiver from Swainsboro, Georgia, verbally committed to the Bulldogs yesterday at the Mark Richt Mini Camp.
Georgia was the second school to offer Rico Johnson after Marshall. But the Dawgs have always been his dream school and he wowed them with a 4.28 in the 40-yard dash.
“It was a great day,” Johnson told UGASports.com. “Coach Richt came over and asked me, “How would you like to be a Bulldog?’ I smiled big and started crying a little bit, and said that I would be happy to be a Bulldog and became one right there.”
