Georgia Tech fans create Uga Roadkill Cake

A picture of a cake featuring Uga run over, presumably by the Ramblin’ Wreck, is making the rounds on the Internet this morning.

The cake was obviously created by a Georgia Tech fan because it comes complete with the “To Hell with Georgia” post-it note. It doesn’t look like a wedding cake, but it could be a Groom’s cake or a party cake.

Sure the cake is tasteless, but it’s all in good fun I guess. Anything to take away the “sting” of losing 10 of the last 11 to your bitter in-state rival.

This is NOT in good taste or in good humor. This is something that should get whoever made it shut down by PETA for intended cruelty to animals. I don’t care if it’s “in fun”. This is disgusting, disrespectful, and downright uncalled for. Sports are supposed to be about good sportsmanship. Not about killing, or acting like you will kill, the other teams mascot just cause you are a sore loser! Suck it up GT. Get a better team and you can have a legitimate chance at winning without stooping to such nasty tactics as this.

  PETA is not a government/law enforcement entity…how do you recommend they “shut down” being able to construct a certain type of CAKE. Get a sense of humor and worry more about your fellow man than whether or not someone is intending to be cruel to animals.

I hate GT but this is not offensive to me. Besides, the Tech football team will look worse than that cake after the DAWGS get through with them!!!!!

it was the groom’s cake, all in fun, the bride is a UGA graduate, they are a house divided…..it’s not that serious people. They are both animal lovers.
