Georgia 6th in 2012 USA Today Sports Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll

2012 USA Today Sports Coaches PollThe Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 6th in the 2012 USA Today Sports Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll. UGA, who finished 10-4 and ranked 20th in 2011, received a total of 1,061 points.

Only three of Georgia’s 2012 opponents are ranked in the preseason poll. South Carolina is ranked 9th, Florida is 23rd, and Auburn is 25th.

The SEC leads with six teams in the Top 25 poll, including five in the Top 10. The Big Ten and Pac-12 are tied for second with five teams, followed by the Big 12 with four, ACC and Pac-12 each with three, and the MWC and Independents (Notre Dame) with one.
