2015 JUCO DE Quincy Vasser Commits to Georgia

JUCO defensive end Quincy Vasser has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs. He is the 7th commitment for UGA’s class of 2015.

Vasser played at Nyack High School in Nyack, New York before moving on to prep school at Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia. At Hargrave, he played with current UGA defensive linemen Leonard Floyd and John Atkins.

He currently plays for Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Texas. Last season, Vasser recorder 26 total tackles and 4.5 sacks in 12 games. He will have three years to play two in Athens.

Vasser (6-4, 270) was also offered by Maryland and has heard from Florida State, Illinois, Ole Miss, and Pittsburgh. He had an offer to attend Syracuse out of Hargrave, but he didn’t make the required SAT score.
