On Saturday, UGA quarterback Aaron Murray was selected in the fifth-round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
NFL Films was with Aaron Murray and his family in Tampa, Florida when he finally got the news that he had been drafted.
“To be with my family and friends for this special day, I didn’t get here on my own. It took a lot of love and a lot of support from my family, from my friends. They really pushed me through this entire process,” Murray said as the video opened.

Three hours into the draft on Saturday, Murray got a call from Dan Zegers of the Kansas City Chiefs.
“How you doing sir?” Murray said. “Thank you, I’m excited, I’m pumped. Thank you for drafting me. “ive been ready. You know I’m ready. Let’s get this thing going.”
Aaron Murray will wear the No. 7 jersey with the Chiefs.
