The Georgia Bulldogs are two steps closer to completing their 2014-15 basketball schedule. UGA has added home games vs. Troy on Friday, Nov. 21 and an exhibition game vs. Georgia Southwestern on Nov. 7.

Georgia is 4-0 all-time against the Troy Trojans, who are members of the Sun Belt Conference. The two schools first met on the hardwood on Dec. 7, 1976 and last played on December 1, 1980.

The Hoop Dawgs have never faced Georgia Southwestern. The Hurricanes are a member of the Peach Belt Conference (PBC) in Division II.

Also obtained via an Open Records Request is UGA’s tentative 2014-15 SEC schedule. The Bulldogs are currently scheduled to open the SEC season at home against Arkansas on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

Georgia is slated to host Florida on Jan. 17, Tennessee on Feb. 7, and Kentucky on March 3. UGA will visit Lexington on Feb. 4.

New Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl brings his team to Athens on Feb. 14. The Bulldogs then return the visit to Auburn on March 7.

The Bulldogs are still waiting on the final schedule for the 2014 NIT Season Tip-Off. Reports indicate the field is likely to be trimmed from 16 to 8 this season. That would also mean Georgia, one of the four hosts, would only get one home game in the tournament with the remaining games at Madison Square Garden.

Check the link below for the complete schedule. It’s expected to be finalized the week of August 11.
