Georgia moves up to No. 8 in Amway Coaches Poll

After their big win over No. 16 Clemson, the Georgia Bulldogs have moved up four spots to No. 8 in the Amway Coaches Poll for Week 2.

Georgia also received one first-place vote. Florida State remains No. 1 with 57 first-place votes. Alabama, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Auburn round out the Top 5.

Other teams to receive first-place votes include No. 3 Oklahoma (2) and No. 4 Oregon (2).

Clemson almost tumbled out of the poll. The Tigers fell all the way to No. 24.

Georgia is off this weekend. Their next game is Saturday, Sept. 13 at South Carolina (3:30pm ET, CBS).
