Gurley was selected by the Rams in the first round (10th overall) in the 2015 NFL Draft in April. He was the first running back taken in the first round since 2012.
According to spotrac.com, Gurley’s contract is worth a total of $13,823,183, with $8,313,224 of that being paid to him as a signing bonus.
Gurley, who is rehabbing from an ACL tear in November, is still “a ways away from practicing,” according to St. Louis Post reporter Jim Thomas.
In his three seasons in Athens with the Georgia Bulldogs, Todd Gurley rushed 510 times for 3,285 yards (6.4 YPC) and 36 touchdowns. He also caught 65 passes for 615 yards and six TD’s.
