2016 Georgia Bulldogs football schedule announced

The 2016 Georgia Bulldogs Football Schedule has been officially announced by the SEC. UGA opens the season on Sept. 3 vs. North Carolina for the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game in Atlanta.

Tennessee visits Sanford Stadium on October 1st for Georgia’s first home conference game. Other home conference games include Vanderbilt (October 15th) and Auburn (November 12th).

Georgia is tasked with a difficult SEC road schedule, including Missouri (September 17th), Ole Miss (September 24th) South Carolina (October 8th), Kentucky (November 5th) plus the Florida rivalry in Jacksonville on October 29th.

Georgia’s remaining non-conference games will all take place in Athens, including Nicholls State (September 10th), UL Lafayette (November 19th) and Georgia Tech in the “Clean Old-Fashioned Hate” (November 26th).

The 2016 SEC Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
