Three-star wide receiver Davion Curtis has flipped his commitment from UGA to Texas. Curtis made his announcement this evening via his Twitter account.

Back on Aug. 3, 2015, Davion Curtis committed to the Georgia Bulldogs on the David Smoak Show on ESPN Central Texas.

Curtis (5-11, 180) committed to the Bulldogs over Kansas State and Oregon State. At the time, he also had offers from Colorado State, Houston, Kansas, Minnesota, North Texas, SMU, Texas Tech, Toledo, Tulsa, and Wisconsin.

In the 247Sports Composite rankings, Curtis is now listed as a 3-star recruit, the No. 128 wide receiver, and the No. 884 overall recruit in the nation for 2016. Those numbers are up from when he committed to the Dawgs.

Georgia is now back down to 17 commitments for the class of 2016 and three are wide receivers: Charlie Woerner, Darion Anderson and Randrecous Davis.
