Time, TV set for Georgia-Tennessee game on Oct. 1

Georgia’s game vs. Tennessee in Athens on Saturday, Oct. 1 will be televised by CBS at 3:30 p.m. ET, the SEC has announced.

Georgia and Tennessee have met 45 times previously before this year’s clash of SEC East rivals. Tennessee leads the all-time series 22-21-2, with the Volunteers winning the previous meeting in 2015 by a 38-31 score at Neyland Stadium.

This will be the Bulldogs’ first appearance on CBS network this season. In 2015, Georgia was featured on the SEC on CBS Game of the Week four times, and the Bulldogs went 1-3 in those nationally showcased match-ups.

Noon: Florida at Vanderbilt – SEC Network

Noon: Alcorn State at Arkansas – SEC Network Alternate

3:30: Tennessee at Georgia – CBS

3:30: ULM at Auburn – SEC Network Alternate

4:00: Texas A&M at South Carolina – SEC Network

7:00: Kentucky at Alabama – ESPN

7:00: Memphis at Ole Miss – SEC Network Alternate or ESPNU or ESPN2

7:30: Missouri at LSU– SEC Network
