Georgia drops out of polls after loss to Tennessee

After fluctuating in both the AP Top 25 and the Amway Coaches’ Poll throughout the first four weeks of the season, Georgia is no longer ranked after their loss to Tennessee, 34-31.

In the Amway Coaches’ Poll, Georgia was ranked 23rd heading into week five of the college football season. There are six SEC teams that remain ranked in the poll. Alabama is at the top of the rankings again, followed by Texas A&M at No. 7, Tennessee at No. 9, Mississippi at No. 14, Arkansas at No.17 and Florida rounding out the rankings within the conference at No. 19.

In the AP Top 25, Georgia was awarded the last spot at 25, heading into week five of the college football season. There are six SEC teams that remain ranked in the poll. Alabama is at the top of the rankings again, followed by Texas A&M at No. 8, Tennessee at No. 9, Mississippi at No. 14, Arkansas at No.16 and Florida rounding out the rankings within the conference at No. 18.
