Georgia ranked 15th in 2017 preseason Coaches Poll

The Georgia Bulldogs are ranked 15th in the 2017 presedason Amway Coaches Poll Top 25. UGA, who finished 8-5 overall and 4-4 in the SEC in 2016, received a total of 701 points.

Only three of Georgia’s 2017 opponents are ranked in the preseason poll. Auburn is 13th, Florida is 16th, and Tennessee is 24th.

Alabama tops the preseason Top 25 rankings. SEC teams ranked in the Top 25 include Alabama (1st), LSU (12th), Auburn (13th), Georgia (15th), Florida (16th), and Tennessee (24th).

The SEC leads all conferences with six teams in the Top 25 poll, but only one in the Top 10. The Big 12 and ACC are second with five teams, followed by the Big Ten and Pac-12 with four each, and the American with one.
