College football rankings: UGA moves up for Week 7

The Georgia Bulldogs, who defeated Vanderbilt 45-14 on Saturday, have moved up in the college football rankings for Week 7.

Georgia moved up two spots to 5th in the AP Poll and one spot to 5th in the Coaches Poll.

The Bulldogs received 1,327 points in the AP Poll, which is 90 more than they received in the Week 6 poll. In the Coaches Poll, UGA received 1,380 points, up 135 points from last week.

Georgia’s next game is Saturday, Oct. 14 at home against the Missouri Tigers (7:30pm ET, SECN). The Bulldogs defeated the Tigers last season 28-27.
