DeMario Mayfield Commits To Georgia Basketball For 2009

DeMario Mayfield, a point guard from Carnesville, Georgia (Franklin County High School), has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for 2009. Mayfield, who has a 3.5 GPA, is the first UGA basketball commitment for 2009.

Mayfield (6-3, 180) committed to the Dawgs over interest from Clemson, Florida State, Fordham, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, South Alabama, South Carolina and Toledo.
