Georgia Basketball To Play In 2007 Rainbow Classic

Last week, The Athens-Banner Herald reported that the Georgia Bulldogs were close to finalizing a deal to play in the 2007 Rainbow Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Today, the Georgia Sports Blog posted an update on the tournament.

The tournament, which runs Dec. 19-22, 2007, currently consists of Georgia, Hawaii, Ohio University, St. John's, St. Mary's and Louisiana-Lafayette.  Northwestern and Washington State have reportedly dropped out of the field.
