Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator Todd Grantham is set to interview for the same position with the New Orleans Saints, according to NFL Network and NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport.
Rumors of the possible interview first surfaced yesterday, but then conflicting reports indicated that the Saints were set to hire Rob Ryan.
According to Rapoport, Grantham will fly to Louisiana tomorrow morning to interview. Here are his tweets regarding this development:

The Georgia Bulldogs will name Chris Wilson as their new defensive line coach, according to several reports.
Chris Wilson has spent the last three seasons as the defensive line coach and co-defensive coordinator at Mississippi State. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and has been a coach for the past 19 years.
Wilson will replace Rodney Garner, who left the Bulldogs to accept the same position with the Auburn Tigers.

Georgia Bulldogs defensive line coach Rodney Garner has decided to accept a position at Auburn, UGA has confirmed.
Garner, a 1990 graduate of Auburn, was also the assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator at Georgia. He spent three years under former UGA head coach Jim Donnan and 12 years under Mark Richt.

Yesterday it was reported that UGA defensive coordinator Todd Grantham had been contacted by the Atlanta Falcons about their now vacant defensive coordinator position.
In response to that rumor, Grantham has released a statement through the UGA athletic department stating his desire to remain at Georgia. UGA athletic director Greg McGarity also told the AJC that he and Grantham have agreed in principle on a new three-year contract.

Will Friend has been named the new offensive line coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, head coach Mark Richt announced this afternoon.
Friend, a graduate of Alabama, has spent the past four years as the OL Coach at UAB under Neil Callaway. He served as a graduate assistant at Georgia in 2003-04.

With the news yesterday that linebackers coach Warren Belin is leaving for the NFL, the Georgia Bulldogs now have two open coaching positions.
Belin, who coached at Georgia for only one season, was hired by the Carolina Panthers and will be the linebackers coach. Carolina recently hired Ron Rivera as their new head coach.

Georgia Bulldogs offensive line coach Stacy Searels is accepting an offer for the same position at Texas, multiple sources have reported. Searels has been at UGA since 2007.
OrangeBloods.com, a Texas Longhorn site on the Rivals network, reported earlier this evening that Searels accepted Mack Brown’s offer to become their new OL coach.

Mark Richt spoke to the media this morning in his post-season press conference in Athens. Richt didn’t provide any ground-breaking news and there were no firings or major staff changes.
Richt did announce that UGA has hired a nutritionist for the football program and that person will start this week. The name of the new hire was not announced.

The Georgia Bulldogs were held to 280 yards of total offense as they fell to the UCF Knights 10-6 in the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
Georgia finishes the 2010 season 6-7, the first losing record under head coach Mark Richt and first since 1996. The loss also snapped Georgia’s four-game bowl winning streak.

Georgia Bulldogs baseball pitching coach Brady Wiederhold has been fired, several sources have reported today.
The Diamond Dawgs had a miserable year on the mound, surrendering just over 9 runs per game. In 53 games played, Georgia pitchers gave up a total of 478 runs.

Belin, an alumnus of Wake Forest, has coached college football for 20 years. He was praised by UGA head coach Mark Richt for his linebacker teachings at Vandy.

Scott Lakatos has been named the new defensive backs coach of the Georgia Bulldogs, the school announced today. Lakatos was the defensive backs coach at Connecticut for the past six seasons.
Lakatos helped the Huskies defense achieve the 9th ranking in pass efficiency defense in 2008 and 2009.

Todd Grantham has been named the new defensive coordinator at Georgia, the school announced today. Grantham is currently the defensive line coach with the Dallas Cowboys.
Grantham has coached in the NFL for 11 years and at the college level for 9 years. He was the defensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns from 2005 through 2007.

It’s been a whirlwind last couple of days in the Georgia Bulldogs defensive coordinator search. Virginia Tech’s Bud Foster was the latest name to be rumored for the open position.
Foster, currently the defensive coordinator at Virginia Tech, was contacted by UGA but has decided to remain with the Hokies. This story broke yesterday, and it’s unclear when Foster was contacted. If it was recently, it may mean that Mark Richt has moved down the list of candidates.
