Georgia picked up their second verbal commitment on Dawg Night, this one from Warren Central (Indianapolis, IN) linebacker Tim Kimbrough.
“Yes sir, I committed to Georgia tonight,” Kimbrough told UGASports.com. “Georgia is a special place and I had a great visit there earlier. It is just a great fit for me.”
Rivals.com rates Kimbrough as a 4-star recruit, the no. 6 inside linebacker and no. 137 in the Rivals250 2013. Scout.com also rates him as a 4-star recruit and the no. 6 middle linebacker.

Quincy Mauger, a defensive back from Marietta, Georgia, verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs today during UGA’s Dawg Night recruiting event.
Mauger’s commitment gives the Dawgs 20 overall for the 2013 class. He is the third defensive back commitment for Georgia, joining J.J. Green, Tray Matthews and Steven Nelson.
“Yes sir, I committed,” Mauger told UGASports.com today.

Reuben Foster, a 5-star linebacker from Auburn, Alabama, has set a press conference for 3 p.m. ET today. Foster is currently committed to Alabama and could announce a change to Georgia or Auburn.
Foster (6-2, 230) committed to the Crimson Tide on July 18, 2011. But Georgia and Auburn have never backed off and could gain his commitment this afternoon.
The nature of the press conference wasn’t specified by Foster, but it is expected that he will change his commitment or open up his recruitment.

Rico Johnson, a cornerback/wide receiver from Swainsboro, Georgia, verbally committed to the Bulldogs yesterday at the Mark Richt Mini Camp.
Johnson’s commitment gives the Dawgs 19 overall for the 2013 class. Georgia had been up to 20 commitments until both Derrick Henry and Kryin Priester decommitted earlier this week.
Georgia was the second school to offer Rico Johnson after Marshall.

Wide receiver Kyrin Priester of Snellville, Georgia (Brookwood H.S.) has decommitted from the Georgia Bulldogs, becoming the second recruit to do so this week. Athlete Derrick Henry decommitted from the Dawgs on Wednesday.
Priester (6-1, 185) committed to Georgia on April 6. At the time, he also had offers from from TCU and Vanderbilt.
“I just want to see all of my options and make the best decision for me at the next level,” Priester said.

Derrick Henry, a 4-star athlete from Yulee, Florida, has decommitted from UGA and reopened his recruitment.
Henry (6-3, 241, 4.58) committed to the Georgia Bulldogs during last years “Dawg Night.” Since then, other schools have turned up the pressure on him. Chief among them is Alabama, led by master recruiter Nick Saban. Henry had been rumored to be wavering on his commitment to Georgia after his visit to Tuscaloosa last week.

Alpharetta defensive end/linebacker Naim Mustafaa committed to Georgia this evening giving the Bulldogs 20 commitments for the 2013 recruiting class. Due to defections and early enrollees, the Dawgs could possibly sign as many as 33 in February.
The battle for Mustafaa’s commitment was between the Bulldogs and in-state rival Georgia Tech. Naim’s father Najee played for the Yellow Jackets and in the NFL for nine years.

Georgia has picked up their second verbal commitment in the last three days, this one from Tallahassee, Florida wide receiver Reggie Davis.
Davis has been a silent commitment to Georgia for some time, but called Mark Richt this evening to make his commitment to the Bulldogs official.
“Awhile back I told Coach (John) Lilly and Coach (Tony) Ball that I wanted to commit, but I wanted to keep it on the down low for now,” said Davis.
