On Tuesday, the UGA athletic board approved a new “Young Alumni Ticket Program” that will allow recent graduates (within the last 5 years) to obtain football season tickets.

The program starts in 2013 and the cost will be $40 per ticket. A donation to the Hartman Fund will not be required for the first year only. For the 2013 season, that will be a total of $240 since the Dawgs will have six home games.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to play the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2012 SEC Football Championship Game on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. The game will be televised by CBS at 4 p.m. ET.

Last week, the Georgia Bulldog Club announced the ticket cutoff scores for the game. If you did not qualify for tickets, that are plenty available on the secondary market through TicketNetwork.com. Current prices begin from around $342 per ticket.

The University of Georgia Athletic Association has announced football ticket cutoff scores for the 2012 season.

All Hartman Fund donors who contributed a minimum of $250 per seat, placed a season ticket order and had a cumulative score of 250 or higher, will receive renewable season tickets for the 2012 season.

Allstate will give away five pairs of tickets to both the 2012 Allstate© BCS National Championship™ and 2012 Allstate© Sugar Bowl© before LSU faces Georgia in the 2011 SEC Football Championship on Saturday, Dec. 3.

Fans can register for a chance to see the nation’s top two teams battle for the national championship in New Orleans by visiting the Allstate gazebo located in the Georgia World Congress Center, just outside of the Georgia Dome. Registration will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets for Georgia vs. Boise State in the 2011 Chick-fil-A College Kickoff in Atlanta are now officially sold out.

A limited number of upper deck tickets went on sale this morning at 9:00 a.m. on GeorgiaDogs.com, but sold out in a matter of minutes.

Georgia received a total of 53,522 tickets while Boise State received 7,500. The remaining 9,213 tickets were allocated to sponsors, Chick-fil-A Bowl renewal buyers and other sources.

The Georgia Bulldog Club has announced some ticket cutoff scores and also announced that additional Boise State tickets will go on sale Monday, July 25.

The University of Georgia received 53,522 tickets for the upcoming Chick-fil-A College Kickoff against Boise State, Sicemdawgs.com has learned after obtaining a copy of the game contract.

Boise State received 7,500 tickets while Peach Bowl, Inc. received 993 tickets. The Georgia Dome seats 71,228 for football, so that leaves 9,213 tickets that will likely go to sponsors, Chick-fil-A Bowl renewal buyers and other sources.

The UGA Athletic Board approved a ticket hike for the Georgia-Florida game on Thursday. Regular seats were raised from $40 to $60 and club level seats were raised from $70 to $100 beginning in 2012.

In the future, the board will discuss raising ticket prices in 2014 and again in 2017. Regular tickets would rise to $70 in 2014 and $75 in 2017, while club level tickets would rise to $110 in 2014 and $120 in 2017.

The 2011 Chick-fil-A College Kickoff game on September 3 will be televised by ESPN at 8:00 p.m. ET. The game pits the Georgia Bulldogs against the Boise State Broncos.

Both teams are expected to be nationally ranked heading into the game. If that holds true, it will be the fourth consecutive year that both teams in the Chick-fil-A game were ranked.

The Georgia Bulldogs will face the UCF Knights in the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl, UGA announced today.

Georgia has played UCF one time in their history. The Dawgs beat the UCF Knights 24-23 in Athens in 1999.

The Liberty Bowl pits Conference USA against the SEC and will be televised by ESPN at 3:30 p.m. on December 31, 2010.

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to play in the 2010 AutoZone Liberty Bowl, UGASports.com has reported. Georgia will face the winner of the Conference USA Championship game between SMU and UCF.

The Liberty Bowl pits Conference USA against the SEC and will be televised by ESPN at 3:30 p.m. on December 31, 2010. A formal invitation can’t be made until after the SEC Championship game.
