Eleven former Georgia Bulldog football players will participate in the 2013 NFL Combine at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
The week-long event began today and runs through Tuesday, Feb. 26. Players will work out in front of NFL coaches, general managers, and scouts ahead of the 2013 NFL Draft which begins on Thursday, April 25.

UGA junior quarterback Aaron Murray will return to the Bulldogs in 2013. Murray made his announcement yesterday on Twitter.
“Blessed to be the QB for the Dawgs, not ready to leave just yet. Time to get back to work & help lead this team to a championship. #GoDawgs”
Murray (6-1, 210) is a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. He is the first quarterback in SEC history to pass for over 3,000 yards in each of his first three seasons.

UGA All-American linebacker Jarvis Jones will enter the 2013 NFL Draft, Jones announced in a statement yesterday.
In two seasons at Georgia, Jones (6-3, 241) played in 26 games and started each one. He finished his collegiate career with 28 sacks, 155 total tackles, 44 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles, and one interception.

The Georgia Bulldogs were well represented in the 2012 NFL Draft. Offensive lineman Cordy Glenn was the first Bulldog selected, going in the 2nd round to the Buffalo Bills.
Overall, seven Georgia Bulldogs were drafted by NFL teams. That tied them for second behind the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Georgia Bulldogs junior tight end Orson Charles announced today that he will forgo his senior season to enter the 2012 NFL Draft.
Charles finishes his career at the University of Georgia with the 1,370 yards receiving, the most ever for a UGA tight end. He also scored 10 touchdowns (tied with Leonard Pope) and had 94 receptions, which places him third.

Georgia Bulldogs junior wide receiver A.J. Green will enter the 2011 NFL Draft, UGA announced today.
Green played in 32 games as a Bulldog and caught 166 passes for 2,619 yards and 23 touchdowns.

The Detroit Lions, coming off of the first 0-16 season in NFL history, selected Matthew Stafford with the no. 1 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Stafford was a 3-year starter at Georgia and finished his career with 7,731 yards, 51 touchdown passes and 564 completions.
With Stafford behind center, the Bulldogs posted a 27-7 record and won three straight bowl games. In his Junior season, Stafford threw for 3,459 yards and a school-record 25 touchdowns with only 10 interceptions.

Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno made it official at a 3:00 p.m. news conference on Wednesday. They are both leaving UGA to enter the NFL Draft. The official UGA site has the story, photos and video.
Today is the decision day for quarterback Matthew Stafford and tailback Knowshon Moreno, both University of Georgia Bulldog standouts. Both players are generally regarded as high first round NFL Draft picks should they declare.
