Black River Entertainment expands its artist roster today with the addition of John King. News of the signing comes on the heels of the digital single release of “Bulldawgs,” the first single released by John and the band on Black River Entertainment.

The “1980 Dawgs” Documentary about the National Championship Season was released last year and has received great reviews from the Bulldog Nation. It’s available in a 2-DVD, Collector’s Edition Set for $39.95.
The 2-DVD set contains over 3.5 hours of footage, including game highlights from all the games in that undefeated season, and emotion packed interviews with over 25 players and coaches from that storied team.

Gangnam Style is everywhere, and now it’s in the Georgia Bulldogs nation. UGA mascots Hairy and Spike, along with the men’s and women’s basketball teams, have presented this parody of the hit single by Korean pop singer PSY.
Nemanja Djurisic impresses with his dance moves, as does freshmen Kenny Gaines and Charles Mann.
The video was first shown on October 12 at BasketBash, the pep rally for the introduction of Georgia’s 2012 men’s and women’s basketball teams.

As you know by now, legendary voice of the Georgia Bulldogs Larry Munson passed away last night. Here is a Larry Munson Tribute Video by 1980 Dawgs.
Back in September, 1980 Dawgs released a DVD that chronicles the 1980 Georgia Bulldogs football team and their national championship.
1980 was a memorable season for the Dawgs and Larry Munson. The championship run included some of Munson’s most memorable quotes such as “My God a freshman” and “Lindsay Scott! Lindsay Scott! Lindsay Scott!”

With 9 seconds left in the second quarter against New Mexico State, Georgia tight end Aron White caught a six-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Murray. White jumped over some band instruments and then got stuck in the hedges.
The Dawgs went up 49-3 on that touchdown and White got to keep some of the broken hedges as a souvenir.

Georgia nose guard Kwame Geathers and strong safety Shawn Williams have each been suspended for the first half of the Florida game, the SEC announced today.
Geathers and Williams were both penalized for their actions during Saturday’s game at Vanderbilt. Geathers is being suspended for “fighting” and Williams for a “flagrant personal foul.”
Vanderbilt center Logan Stewart was also given a one-half game suspension. His “flagrant personal foul” is what prompted Geathers to retaliate.

Produced in a two DVD, Collector’s Edition set, the film contains over 3 1/2 hours of behind the scenes stories, including some never heard before and exciting game footage.
Over 25 players and coaches are featured in the film, including Herschel Walker, Buck Belue, Lindsay Scott, Meat Cleaver Weaver, Erk Russell, Vince Dooley, Frank Ros, Scott Woerner, Amp Arnold and Jimmy Payne.
The director of 1980 Dawgs is Lenny Daniel, a 1981 graduate of UGA’s Grady School of Journalism. Mike Moss, entrepreneur and also a graduate of the Grady School of Journalism (1983) is the Executive Producer.

I’m sure you’ve seen this by now. It’s the “Party in the UGA” video made for 2010 freshman orientation at the University of Georgia.
This is a massive pile of fail on so many levels. Not only is the video embarrassing in and of itself, Georgia was just named the number one party school in America by the Princeton Review. Sprinkle in Damon Evans’ DUI and the numerous player arrests in 2010 and what do you get? America laughing at the Bulldogs once again.
