Alabama OL Jonathan Owens Commits To UGA

Jonathan Owens, an offensive lineman from Blountsville, AL (Susan Moore), has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for 2008. Owens (6-5, 290) committed to the Dawgs over offers from Georgia Tech, Troy and UAB.

Owens becomes Georgia's 14th verbal commitment for 2008. He told UGASports.com "Coach Richt was a big part of my decision. I just love everything about him. He has great morals, he is a family man and he cares more than just football. He really cares for his players and wants to make them better men for after football."
