Dawgs Pick Up Two More 2009 Commitments

Last week, the Georgia Bulldogs picked up their first three verbal commitments for 2009. Now the Dawgs have a total of five commitments after offensive lineman Chris Burnette and quarterback Zach Mettenberger each committed to UGA.

Burnette (6-4, 290, 5.1) plays for Troup County High School in LaGrange, Georgia. He committed to the Bulldogs over offers from Auburn, Central Florida, Florida and Oklahoma.

Mettenberger (6-5, 208, 4.7) plays for Oconee County High School in Watkinsville, Georgia. He committed to Georgia over offers from Boston College and Florida State.
