Georgia Bulldogs Set To Face Georgia Southern

It's that time again Georgia Bulldog fans! The Dawgs are set to open the 2008 season against the Georgia Southern Eagles in Athens at 12:30 pm on Saturday. Georgia comes in to the game with National Championship aspirations and holds the number one ranking in the Associated Press Top 25 and USA Today Coaches' Poll.

The Bulldogs are 3-0 all-time against the Eagles. Their last meeting was in 2004 when the Dawgs beat Georgia Southern 48-28 to open the season. Georgia would go on to finish 10-2 that year and defeated Wisconsin 24-21 in the Outback Bowl.
