Knowshon Moreno's Leap

With a little over a minute remaining in the 3rd quarter of Saturday's game against the Central Michigan Chippewas, Georgia Bulldogs tailback Knowshon Moreno took a handoff from quarterback Matthew Stafford. Moreno gained 29-yards on the play, but it wasn't any ordinary play. Moreno came face to face with the Chippewas Vince Agnew in the secondary, and lept over him (see video of Moreno's hurdle below).

From GeorgiaDogs.com: "That was crazy," teammate Asher Allen said. "He's done it in practice before. I think he's been keeping that in his back pocket."

"He's a special kid," Head Coach Mark Richt said. "We saw him do it in practice, and I redshirted him anyway. That wasn't real smart on my part. I knew he was good, but I didn't know he was that good."

Moreno finished the game with 168 yards on 18 carries (9.3 yards per carry) and scored three touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 30 yards. The Bulldogs went on to defeat Central Michigan 56-17.
