Four-Star Linebacker Michael Gilliard Commits To UGA

Linebacker Michael Gilliard of Valdosta, Georgia (Valdosta High School) has verbally committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for 2009. Mike Bobo and John Jancek recruited Gilliard for the Bulldogs.

Gilliard (6-2, 200, 4.6), who had over 20 offers, committed to the Dawgs over Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, South Carolina and Tennessee. Rivals.com ranks Gilliard as a 4-star linebacker and UGASports.com ranks him as their 19th overall recruit in Georgia.
