Red Defeats Black 17-3 In 2008 G-Day Game

The Georgia Bulldogs held their annual Spring game at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, April 5 in front of almost 20,000 fans. 2008 UGA Football Rosters Updated; 2008 Spring Practice Info

The Georgia Bulldogs are set to open their 2008 Spring Football Practice. The annual G-Day game will be played at Sanford Stadium on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. The Dawgs are coming off of an 11-2 season and a 2nd place finish in the final AP Top 25 Poll. Georgia Ranked 2nd In AP Poll, 3rd In Final Coaches Poll

The Georgia Bulldogs were ranked 2nd in the final Associated Press Poll and 3rd in the final USA Today Coaches Poll, which were released after LSU's win over Ohio State in the 2008 BCS National Championship game. The Bulldogs completed a stellar season with a convincing 41-10 win over previously unbeaten Hawaii in the 2008 Sugar Bowl. In the AP Poll, LSU placed first, followed by Georgia, USC, Missouri and Ohio State. LSU also finished first in the USA Today Poll, followed by USC, Georgia, Ohio State and Missouri.  Full Story...


Georgia Dominates Hawaii 41-10 In 2008 Sugar Bowl

For over a month, all the Georgia Bulldogs heard about was Colt Brennan and the potency of the Hawaii Warriors offense. Georgia To Face Hawaii In Sugar Bowl; Richt Calls For A Black Out Of The Louisiana Superdome

The 5th-ranked Georgia Bulldogs will face the 10th-ranked Hawaii Warriors in the Allstate Sugar Bowl on January 1, 2008. The game will be broadcast by FOX at 8:30 p.m. EST. Bulldogs Start Slow, Come From Behind To Beat Wildcats 24-13

Senior tailback Thomas Brown and redshirt freshman Knowshon Moreno split the tailback carries right down the middle and led the Bulldogs to a 24-13 win over the Kentucky Wildcats. Georgia, who trailed 10-0 after the 1st quarter, turned the ball over four times but settled down to stifle Kentucky's passing game.  Full Story...

Black Out In Athens As Georgia Rolls Over Auburn 45-20

Amidst a sea of Georgia fans wearing black, the Bulldogs warmed up in their usual red home jerseys. But after a team prayer in the dark, the Dawgs were presented black jerseys to wear against the Auburn Tigers. Making the change didn't hurt as the Bulldogs dominated the Tigers in the second half to win 45-20.  Full Story...

Georgia Defeats Troy 44-34

Knowshon Moreno rushed 26 times for 196 yards and three touchdowns as the no. 10 Georgia Bulldogs outlasted the Troy Trojans 44-34 in Athens. Moreno scored on runs of 80, 1 and 1 and now has 1,003 rushing yards this season.  Full Story...
