The 2008 Atlanta Braves season should be a great one. The Braves hope to return to the playoffs, led by pitchers John Smoltz, Tom Glavine, Tim Hudson and Mike Hampton. Anchoring the offense are Chipper Jones, Mark Teixeira, Jeff Francoeur and Brian McCann.
The 2007-08 Atlanta Hawks are hoping to make the playoffs for the first time since the 1998-99 season. This years team is led by Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Josh Childress, Al Horford and Mike Bibby.
GM/Head Coach Don Waddell and the 2008 Atlanta Thrashers are looking to make their 2nd appearance in the NHL Playoffs. The Thrashers are led by goalkeeper Kari Lehtonen and forward Ilya Kovalchuk.
The 2008 Atlanta Falcons are led by new head coach Mike Smith. Leading the Falcons at quarterback will be Joey Harrington, Chris Redman, D.J. Shockley or a possible Draft Pick.
